It is with great sadness that we are saying goodbye to our furry child today. Genis has developed severe heart problems and all his organs started failing. Rather than letting him suffer, we decided on euthanasia to ease his way.
Goodbye, little boy, you will be missed.
Dit is met groot hartseer dat ons vandag sê totsiens aan ons vierpotige kind. Genis het ernstige hartprobleme ontwikkel en al sy organe het begin ingee. Eerder as om hom te laat ly, het ons besluit op genadedood om sy oorgang verlig.
Totsiens, kleinste seuntjie, ons sal jou mis.

Ag jinne Hester, ek huil saam met julle. Dis altyd so hartseer om ‘n troeteldier te verloor. Rus sag liewe Genissie.

I am so saddened by this information. Though so far apart, we felt a connection with Genis and with all the family through your blog posts. Genis was the best of good boys and we know your decision must have been so difficult but ultimately correct. You are in our thoughts today and Genis will stay in our memories.

Baie jammer om te hoor van Genis se heengaan. Hy was n dierbare hondekind wat beslis gemis gaan word. Hy rus nou in vrede. Innige simpatie aan die gelifdes.
